Some micro level empirical studies questioned the validity of poverty hypothesis child labour. In some cases labour incidence found to be increasing even with improvement in economic conditions poor. This paper provides a possible explanation as why increase absolute income may not sufficient solve problem labour, at least cases. We argue that people general are just concerned about their own consumption; they very much affected by consumption peers.
